Qualification Procedures for State Championships and Nationals  for Kids Division

8U/10U/12U (aka Kids)
1.  Qualifier
         -Open to any Full Athlete member in any state
2. Kids State
        - Wrestler does not need to qualify for Kids State
        - It is open registration for Ohio Residents that Full Athlete members
        - Weight classes are set up for 8U – 12U athletes.  Madison block will be used to pair if there are not enough wrestlers in a weight class.
3. Central Regionals
        - Wrestler does not need to qualify. It is open registration to all Full Athlete members in any state
4. Kids Nationals
        -Open to all USAW Members in that Age Division. Participating in the State Tournament and a Regional will help with seeding. 

14U (aka Kids)
1. Qualifier
       - Open to any Full Athlete member in any state
2. Kids State
       - Wrestler must qualify for Kids State by participating and finishing at least one qualifier in the state of Ohio, any Regional Qualifier or 15U Pan Am Qualifier
3. Central Regionals
        - Wrestler does not need to qualify. It is open registration to all Full Athlete members in any state
4. Kids Nationals
        -Open to all USAW Members in that Age Division. Participating in the State Tournament and a Regional will help with seeding. . 
5. State Duals- Not eligible
6. 14U National Duals Team Selection Process
       - Boys 14U National Duals Team 
       - Girls 14U National Duals Team- Champion in each Style will be guaranteed a place on the 14U National Dual Team. Other placers may be offered spots so placement matters.
